Getting images in your comments
Loading ...I mentioned Gravatar today - Globally Recognized Avatars - as a way to get your image in the comments and be able to tie a face to the name. If you want to get one, just go to Gravatar.com and sign up with the same email you’re using in this blog. The image you upload there will appear in our blog. as simple as that. Enjoy.

note with Gravatars, after you upload, you then have to go back and select the picture you just uploaded.
so this is probably a dumb comment but why wont gravatar let me upload a photo from facebook or myspace? I copy the url and paste it into gravatar and then it tells me the url does not exist? help!
It’s actually not such a dumb question…
Facebook and MySpace present to you content based on your login. If the request for the image does not come from an authorized user (like the Gravatar server) it cannot work.
What I recommend is for you to download the images to your hard drive and then upload them to Gravatar.
