Final Project on cURL
So I’m trying to figure out a way to make this website so people understand what it is and why it’s used. My project is a redesign of this website that is a file transfer program, but it uses a command line in order to do so. I’m still learning about how to use a command line, but I am starting to understand what this company wants the audience to know about the company. The design I came up with so far is rough, but I purposely made it simple, because I think the company made it somewhat clear that graphics and images are not what they are about. The company is more for people who are really interested in the technology of it all. Apparently it’s simple, but I still don’t get it, haha.
Here’s the link to the site:
cURL
I will have to show you my design in class because it won’t let me up load the image through the “Add Media” button. It has been busy for 20 minutes and nothing has happened.
Final Project Idea
Hey Guys,
I have been having a hard time finding a project to work on, but I’m probably going to use this one:
site
It’s called cURL and transfers files using URL syntax. It supports SSL certificates, FTP uploading, proxies, cookies, password authentication, proxy tunneling, and more. I used to use WebCargo when I wanted to transfer big files, but you could only do so many before you had to pay. cURL is and open source program, which is great, but I think I’m at least going to work on the website layout and the logo, and hopefully more. I’m signed up for the mailing list, but still working on the installation… I may need help with that.
Let me know what you guys think!
See you later,
Sheila
