Hey everyone,

Sitting here working on my website realizing how much I have learned since we first worked on our first site.
Even though this is still a work in progress and I was wondering if anybody was online with any feedback. Would be very grateful.

Things I still have to work on are:

Menu spacing

Bottom menu (maybe)

Before and after picture choices

And the whole Donation page.

Mushon, am trying to get into your class after all. Do you know if there is still space?

Hi Leonie,

This is great! Considering you all first gotten the syllabus for this assignment more than 7 months ago, I really appreciate your persistence :)

I think your work has gone a long way and the design is much more defined. I think your use of the grid helped as well. So yeah… it seems we have all made some progress in that semester.

Some thinks to still consider:

  • The orange and green colors do not work well together and create a disturbing contrast, it might make sense to rethink your use of them.
  • You are still using a much too wide variety of text sizes and colors that harm the consistency of your design.
  • My hunch is that the extensive use of orange as the basic color makes the whole design pretty saturated and noisy, and it is harder for you to cool things off and be more subtle with the details later. (jumping between negative and positive text, using variety of text backgrounds and so on)

I hope this helps, I am looking forward to having you in my advanced class this semester.
