Homer’s update
Hello, everyone! I’m sorry I’ve been so far behind, but fear not, I’m catching up quickly! First of all, when I posted my 3 pages, only my homepage is coming up when I click on the thumbnail. Has anyone else had this problem? I chose thumbnail and link to file for each of them. Is that wrong?Anyway, this is the Homerpage. I chose a computer-friendly typeface and increased its size. I shortened the introductory paragraph and increased the leading to make it more inviting. I brought out espanol. I reduced the size of the Homer’s logo and moved it to the menu bar instead of behind paragraph so it won’t interfere with the type and so that it will appear on each page - branding! And I made The Blue Donkey Bar a link in the paragraph instead of a menu bar option, since it’s not what this site is about. I colored all links orange to fall in line with the feeling of Homer’s. 
The sample menu page is what comes up when a browser clicks on the menu option in the menu bar. I think it’s okay to have the pop-up sample price and information because if a viewer is looking for something in particular or is REALLY interested in the prices, they can click the detailed menu link that is on this page. 
And here is said detailed menu. I didn’t super-design this page because it’s not really meant to be. It’s just a lot of detailed information for those particularly interested. 
Homer’s grid and sample pages
Here’s my grid. When I took a look at the structure I had created, most of the pages were following a similar arrangement. So, I created this grid and moved everything a little bit, and everything fell into place pretty easily.
Even though I think that the first page visitors see should just be a clean Homer’s logo with lots of white space, I decided to rely on Mushon’s advice since he’s the expert. So, this is the homepage.
When you’re on the homepage and you click “menu”, this is the page that appears. This is just a sketch image to show that there will be Homer’s most popular dishes on the final version of this webpage. As you scroll over the different items, a pop-up would appear displaying a description and price (like I demonstrate with the donut burger).

I would like to choose Homer’s World Famous Malt Shop as the business I create a website for. I know you said to try to avoid restaurants, so I have backups if this one is not allowed. But when I saw Homer’s, I knew I wanted to work on it. This place is like a 50’s diner, ice cream parlor, kids’ paradise, and restaurant all-in-one. It’s fun, unique, and very noticeable in the midst of the adult bars and restaurants along the Upper West Side’s Amsterdam Ave. They have a bunch of cool merchandise, an outdoor garden eating area, and they’re available for kid and adult parties. They do have a website http://homersworldfamous.com/ but it blows. I’ll talk about why in class.

Trap Soundtrack
Hey, everyone!
If I’m correct, the song that repeated in the background of Trap a bunch of times was Great Release by LCD Soundsystem. I’m not sure, but Heartless Romantic by the Dears might have been in there, as well. But I know Great Release was. I share this because I like those songs. Maybe you did, too.
Mushon, am I correct to post chit-chat like this here or is there a different spot where I’m supposed to write stuff like this?

I don’t know how to take a screenshot, so the link is above. The internet is so crowded with information that a well designed, clean screen is like a breath of fresh air.
This image is of my home. I thought this was an interesting way to show that good interface can be in the eye of the beholder. Even though the doors are old and the stoop is painted with gray, peeling paint, I love it.
